Care Quality Commission

For the first time dental practices have been subject to an application and inspection process by The Care Quality Commission (CQC). This has been designed to ascertain compliance with their published standards on a wide variety of issues. They paid particular attention to the sterilisation (decontamination) of dental instruments, to patient consent and to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. We were inspected in January 2012 and we are pleased to tell you that the CQC inspectors reported us to be 100% compliant. They made no recommendations for changes of any kind.

A search now on the CQC website will bring up a message saying:
“This service was previously registered at a different address.
We have not inspected this service yet”.
While we have not had a full inspection at Queen Anne Street the CQC inspectors visited us in November 2016 and were content that an early inspection was not required.
